With The Government Guidelines Changing Week by Week, We want to keep you informed as to what we intend to do to restart our games when the venues they are held in Re-Open.

Lets face it we all want to get back to playing Cards at some point but have to observe distancing.

As Things Change, We will adapt as follows:

Hopefully, soon enough we will be permitted to return to Operating and Playing Poker in Pubs, in-line with Government Guidance, yet this advice may yet change .

At present We are looking at trialling a 6 max format on return. using large casino grade tables
Drinks will be served using table service.
this format will Run as MTT shootouts with a final table
your finishing postion for points will be based on longetivity and hand for hand play on table bubbles.
if starting with 2 tables it will be the top 3 from each table
if starting with 3 tables it will be the top 2 from each table
this gives a maximum limit of 18 players to each whole game

Chipsets will be washed After each game.

Each venue will be issued with 2 sets of chips dirty/clean on rotation for each weekly game so there is reduced chance of infection being passed.

Decks of Cards will be Discarded After each game.

We will reccommend that each player uses disposable gloves and wears a mask at all times, we are unable to provide players with masks please ensure you have the correct PPE to use.

This may mean we are limited to outdoor play which can take place at some venues and not at others.

To achieve this each overall stake will rise to £8, as we are our own cause within the law, a pot levy will be in place per player per game at all UKAPP ran venues of no more than £1 per player to cover all reasonable costs/chritable donation at 50/50, this ultimately means we will also be playing for bigger pot sizes than our previous stake.

A Club wide risk assessment for each venue will be passed weekly as the advice changes but the thoughts up until now have contained the above protocols to enable us to play cards.

If you feel you may have any input on this subject and would like to get involved in running the club moving forwards, please send an email to the Address below

We hope you are well and can continue to enjoy the game at the first opportunity when we get the chance!
