LEGALITY

All T.I.L.T Series games are ran at a £600 pot max £8 total stake

On the 17th january 2015 at midday UKAPP held its first AGM to determine the way forward for the club

Elected officials were appointed to the pre standing committee therefore forming a quorum for a club

The Constitutional values remain as they were and registration as a CIC and under data protection act following the raising of funds to do so forthwith

these funds are to be obtained through a series of double points games feeding a ‘floating league’ that has no rolling prize or input from previous games stakes

the points also feed the overall league table

We are a publically accessible club and society that operates on a non profit basis under a constitution, after the stakes are taken we intend to bank £3 from each participating player as proceeds gained for the clubs operation

the money will not be used to boost any club games prize pool but solely intended to fund the clubs costs and activities

the question of if we are able to do this is lawfully in licenced premises simply answered on this following page

http://www.gamblingcommission.gov.uk/FAQs/Poker/Can-I-raise-money-for-a-club.aspx

by adhering to the limitations on this page

http://www.gamblingcommission.gov.uk/FAQs/Poker/Can-I-raise-money-for-charity.aspx

£5 from the total stake of £8 is placed in the prize pool for the event, giving the maximum amount quoted in the passed legislation of:

The Gambling Act 2005 (Non-Commercial Equal-Chance Gaming) Regulations 2007 No. 2041 Regulation 3

http://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/2007/2041/regulation/3/made

section 10 of the following guidelines entirely overrules the basic legislation set out for holding poker in pubs and licenced premises when playing for the marginally higher level stake for a good cause

http://www.gamblingcommission.gov.uk/pdf/Advice%20on%20gaming%20in%20clubs%20and%20alcohol%20licensed%20premises%20-%20September%202008.pdf

thus the maximum pot may be £600 and this enables up to 75 players to be seated Legally at the maximum of £8 per head, with £375 being the maximum prize pool after the portion given to the good cause is taken
